It’s a funny thing when you wake up on the first day of spring and you’re celebrating your wife’s birthday with a latte and a breakfast burrito …. and then the next thing you know a hot air balloon is making an unscheduled landing in your front yard. So what do you do? Greet them with a glass of Chardonnay, of course — while still your pajamas at the early hour of 8:00am. Here are some pics from this past Sunday morning…. If James’ doesn’t have time to drop a few lines, then I will! (3/2/10)
It is hard to believe that we are already into March with Spring just around the corner. Before, I lose myself in excitement about the prospect of sunshine, let me first thank all our amazing and supportive James Cole clients.
As most of you know, James and I have worked for many years to realize our dream of making best-in-class wines — and through it all, it seems we underestimated what a truly amazing experience it would be to get to know our loyal customers. We love sharing stories, telling jokes, and just kicking back with you all when we are around for your visits.
Speaking of which…James and I continue to juggle a million things (between our children and day jobs), so we may not always be as present as we’d like – but we check in with Lisa and Ben every day to see who visited and a little about each person’s experience in the winery. And of course, we are just a click away and always look forward to your direct (and unbiased) feedback. So let us know how we are doing!
Now about that sunshine….everything around us it just ready to bloom. No bud break yet, but the cherry and plum blossoms are a plenty. So allergies aside, we hope you are planning a trip our way soon. We are excited to share the new release of our 2008 Chardonnay (yum) and 2008 Merlot Icewine (OMG, is this good). You won’t be disappointed.

We have two wine club memberships from which to choose:
• The Coalition includes an allocation of our premium and library selection wines—consisting of quarterly shipments of 4 bottles per shipment. You will also be entitled to exclusive invitations to attend members-only events, winemaker dinners and tastings, as well as two complimentary tastings per visit. (Avg. $300 cost per shipment, plus tax & shipping)
• The Collection offers members an allocation of all of our premium, limited collection and library selection wines. This membership includes 4 to 6 shipments each year consisting of 6 bottles per shipment. Members also receive an exclusive invitation to attend members-only events, winemakers dinners and tastings, as well as four complimentary tastings per visit. You will also have priority purchasing of library and limited-release wines, in addition to rare large formats. (Avg. $450 cost per shipment, plus tax & shipping)
