There is an old saying comparing grapevines to poets, and that is “the more they struggle and are stressed, the more interesting and noteworthy are the results they produce.” 

“Poets Corner” is the name given to our small block of Clone 15 Cabernet Sauvignon in the northeast corner of our property where the sandy/gravelly soils show poor fertility and yet great drainage which cause these vines to struggle and put more energy into searching for nutrients and water which results in low yielding, small intense and flavorful berries that, just like the best poets, reveal themselves in an intense and imaginative way.

This vintage exudes enticing aromas of cinnamon, black cherry, and a hint of eucalyptus, setting the stage for an indulgent sensory experience. On the palate, it reveals a creamy texture adorned with layers of deep raspberry, dark chocolate caramel, almonds, and black cherry, delivering a rich and complex flavor profile. Subtle minerality and mouthwatering acidity enhance the wine's elegance, culminating in a beautiful, long-lasting finish that leaves a lasting impression.
