This beautiful wine marks a truly special moment in our journey—the very first vintage harvested from our own estate in 2003. Lovingly hand-picked by us, our family and our close friends, it has gracefully aged over two decades, revealing itself now as a remarkable testament to time, friendship, and craftsmanship.
The wine captivates immediately with aromas of licorice, ripe red fruits, fresh mint, and subtle notes of truffle, delicately intertwined with hints of tobacco, aged leather, and cedar. On the palate, it generously unfolds flavors of rich plum and black currants, still plush and vibrant, showcasing remarkable depth and evolved complexity.
This rare library offering is at its peak and ready to be enjoyed today. Due to its 20+ years of bottle aging, sediment will naturally appear. For the best experience, gently remove the cork—preferably using a two-pronged Ah-so opener – to maintain the aged cork's integrity. Decant slowly through a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter to ensure any sediment or cork fragments remain separate from the wine. We recommend decanting for 30 minutes to fully awaken this vintage's enduring elegance. Enjoy!
