Malbec is a late-ripening grape, demanding even more time on the vine than Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Malbec grapes thrive in a unique terroir of rocky, gravelly soil that absorbs and retains the sun's warmth, allowing the grapes to develop incredible richness and complexity even after sunset. The result is a wine with exceptional intensity, depth, and balance.

The 2016 Malbec features lovely ripe raspberry, roasted coffee beans and cedar aromas grab your attention while flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and smoked paprika fill your glass. Supported by a bold, broad entry and mid palate retaining elegance across the finish with great integration and layers, this wine is very approachable now but will reward with cellaring over the next 5-10 years.
