Malbec is a late-ripening grape, demanding even more time on the vine than Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Malbec grapes thrive in a unique terroir of rocky, gravelly soil that absorbs and retains the sun's warmth, allowing the grapes to develop incredible richness and complexity even after sunset. The result is a wine with exceptional intensity, depth, and balance.

Aromas of dark black and blueberry, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, oregano, and paprika fill the glass, while the palate exudes rich and inviting flavors of blackcurrant, cassis, dark chocolate, berry compote, thyme, and cedar.  The textures show a very dark, brooding entry with a broad dense mid-palate surrounded by a velvety mouthfeel and a long lingering finish that has real staying power.
