Aliento (Spanish for “Breath”) is a result of our longtime desire to put together a classic Bordeaux style proprietary red blend, similar to the famed First-Growth Chateaux. Aliento features Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. We specifically chose what we believe to be among the best vineyard sites in the Napa Valley for each varietal.

Unloads with expressive notes of cassis, shaved chocolate, and ripe raspberries on a suave and expressive entry while the complexity of this wine carries through into the palate, where the red and dark fruit flavors are wrapped beautifully in refined yet silky tannins, with crisp acidity balancing out the middle. This classic Napa blend displays a wonderful sense of symmetry from start to finish.
